Star Control 3 - The Lk

Finally getting the later races. I kind of like their voice. It's kind of neat in a weird hissing way. I dunno. I also like the idea of mushroomsnake things, and their puppet is kind of interesting. Also I like saying Lk. LK.

Although again, SC3 takes things that COULD be interesting, and then does nothing with them. The Lk have potential (precursor potential hurr hurr) but it's just not realized like it would be in, say, SC2. Ah well.

GOD WILL EVERYONE SHUT UP ABOUT THE PRECURSORS.

"where are the ilwrath in SC3? They are my favourite race..."

The Ilwrath and Thraddash destroyed each other in Sc2. Although, I'd think there would be at least a couple hundred of each race left. It would make a cool plot point for a *real* sequel if they ever make one, which is doubtful.

Oh yeah, and I love how the precursor at the end explains the Lk's origins. He basically says "We accidently forgot to put the mushrooms back into the fridge and they rotted and turned into sentient beings."

@damileslol I heard that's because the game wasn't made by the original creators, Legend Entertainment didn't have the rights to all the races. Because of this, the game either never mentions the dropped races or made excuses for them not being there.

I personally like Star Control 3 alot, maybe because I played it as a kid. The voice acting isn't really that bad, and the story doesn't suck. I like listening to the backgrounds of each race, etc.
