Billy explains then demonstrates why he likes to take the show "into" the audience with part of the Joel show. Recorded for Channel 2 at the London Ale House in the summer of 81.
I first saw Witness in 1989 @ the Green Pine Inn in Allentown, & never missed a GPI show after that! This was always one of their opening numbers! Thanks, JD...
Jeeeez! I just got blown back to my well-spent youth, growing up in Wildwood, NJ, and living for the nights my girlfriends and I would see Witness at the London Ale House! I hadn't thought about those times in a long time. What a great flashback! And what's even more amazing is that I think I se ME in the audience being hugged by the singer during Billy Joel's "It's Just a Fantasy"!!! Ah, life was wild, crazy and extremely fun back then! No regrets!!! Thanks for the memories!!!
thanks for the memories JD! The interaction between the guys was everything. In between songs, the antics, Steelman getting angry and needing to be subdued..later throwing the Tull hat on his brother's head from across the stage..
Billy was cooler in the Leather jacket....lol

So nostalgic for me... Whatever happened to Billy Spence? My sister is in this video wearing a white suit, blink and you miss her.

sounds like so much fun wish I was old enough to be there to see them live.
