  • Eli Lilly Zyprexa suits

They called it the *Five at Five* (5 mg at 5 pm to keep nursing home patients subdued and sleepy) and *VIVA ZYPREXA* (Zyprexa for everybody) campaigns to off label market Eli Lilly Zyprexa as a fix for unapproved usage. Big Pharma companies that have relied on fraud to market industry's worst pharmaceuticals--antipsychotic drugs--which have become industry's most profitable cash cow. ---

  • schizophrenia is manufactured stigma.

  • All meds affect people different, folks. Just because one person tolerated it well, doesn't mean another person won't have various, sometimes serious, side effects. Not everyone will gain weight, but some will. Not everyone will develop diabetes as a result, but some will. Period. Psych meds are no laughing matter.

  • Some people really love to show how STUPID they are. If you don't know what you are talking about, maybe say nothing at all.

  • i disagree smh a pill cannot make you have diabetes , its what you eat that makes you have it

  • or maybe you were a fat fuck before and geeeeee you are an even fatter fuck after. Gosh!! Shocking!!

  • i took this med for 2x periods, and experienced 2 main side effects. 1, being the weight gain. nothing massive. the 2nd being increasing suicidal tendancies. i know it was the med because i took it for 2x periods of around 6-8 months.both times the longer i was on it, the worse i got. i weaned off it, i improved in that area. ive been off it again now for about 6 months, and have hardly any suicidal thoughts.i was told that sometimes these meds can actually inflame what ur trying to control.

  • Did you know that Eli Lily also makes a lot of money off of diabetes medicines?

  • Ive been taking this drug since it first came out in the 90's. I have had massive weight gain and get tired easily. i ve lost a lot of confidence due to my weight gain. I hav nt developed diabetes though On the positive side it does control my psychotic symptoms, which is a relief as i seriously self harmed.

  • @WarriorOfTheBlackSun Excellent point. The focus needs to be on balanced, healthy lifestyles (diet, exercise, etc) but there's too much money to be made in medicating people.
