I've been cursed with pale, almost translucent hair. I'm not Albinic, but I'm pretty close. I got a really bad sun burn on the top of my head cause my hair is so light the sun went right through it, and I think I destroyed some hair falicals. Anyway. I like your idea of keeping it short, but I my facial hair is clear as well so I look like a cueball when I buzz the head. Should I dye my facial hair or something?

@KennyBumbleBee No!!! Don't dye your facial hair or hair on your head. I looked at the video you uplaoded and you just have very blond hair! Doesn't look bad at all. It makes you unique and once your head gets a base tan, you won't have anything to worry about.

@jshields01 I have been bald since I was in my early 20's. Always worked out-have the bodybuilder body, extreme self confidence and very successful career -and I started surfing too. Never had a problem t-bagging hot babes and no problem getting dates. All comes down to how you view yourself and self esteem. I could care less about hair. Don't need it.

i was thinking of shaving my head completely but thanks to you i will just trim it down a bit.. my hair is about 3 or 4 inches long (yea not that long lol) but i feel that its gotten weaker since i let it grow. i am able to pull some of it off easily, especially on the top. thanks for your help

I started loosing my hair when i was 17. It FUCKING SUCKED. I never got laid, pretty boys kicked my ass, and my life was hell.. i had no confidence. Im 20 going on 21 now, and im playing drums in 3 technical metal bands, perusing an acting career, and training boxing jui-jitsu and working out hard every day. My point is bald guys have character, because you have to work SO much harder to get noticed than pretty boys.

Most of the time it is the DHT test that binds to your hair and kills it. Finasteride can pretty much stop and even reverse it

If it makes you feel any better, I find that the "Mother's Father" gene theory for balding isn't really the determining factor. I've got a lot of male salon clients who have hair but have a brother who is balding or vice versa. It seems to me that whether or not you get the balding gene is just determined the old fashion way like all the other genes you inherit from mom and dad.
