I'm asking the question because I'm wondering if the people in other countries that say shit like "all Americans are stupid", understand who exactly it is they are referring to because I don't think they do.
America was built by immigrants seeking a better way of life. We are a nation built on difference. We are also the world superpower. Why? Because our differences make us stronger. Am I right? HELL YES!!! Tell me I'm wrong about this, I dare ya!

A true American to me is someone who believes in freedom for all and taking on the responsiblities of being part of the nation. I visited Philadelphia with my daughter and truly became teary-eyed when the guide explained among other things that people came her for religious freedom.

My favorite t.v. show of all time is Northern Exposure.
