Take care of all those charms
And you'll always be in someone's arms
Keep young and beautiful
If you want to be loved

  • This song sends such a great message...

  • You know what's pathetic? Know-it-alls who can comment on YouTube videos but apparently can't use Google or IBDB. Leep Young and Beautiful was added to the 2001 Revival production and is in the currently published version of the show.

  • "Keep Young and Beautiful" was added to the 2001 revival version of "42nd Street".

  • @sander19951995 Which means your musical director has decided to add a period song into your production of 42ND STREET to flesh out its length. That's all. The song was not originally written for the show.

  • yes keep young and beautiful is different form young and healthy but they're both in the production

  • @sander19951995 Yes, I totally agree with you. "Young And Healthy" IS in 42nd Street. "Keep Young And Beautiful" is NOT. They are two completely different songs which both happen to have the word "young" in their titles. Search for "Young And Healthy" on YouTube, listen to it, then relisten to "Keep Young And Beautiful" and you will see I am right. Google the lyrics for both songs and you will see they are completely different, too.

  • @dyssbroadway i am going to perorm a version of 42nd street and it's in it ÿoung and healthy"is one of the first songs sung by billy lawlor and peggy sawyer

  • @dyssbroadway no they sing this in 42nd street 2 it's sung by maggie

  • No, it's from Roman Scandals. You are confusing "Keep Young And Beautiful" with "Young And Healthy" which IS from 42nd Street.

  • The original is by Eddie Cantor from Roman Scandals in the 30's, there is a clip on youtube for it
