deciBel puts on a clinic with his new two tone green 125th Anniversary Grestch 6118 - T (2008)
Twenty Flight Rock (Eddie Cochran), Johnny B Goode (Chuck Berry)
Lead solos also include parts from BlueDays, Black Nights (Buddy Holly) and Rock around the Clock (Bill Haley and the Comets). Two or three of the many tones available are used here to illustrate the neck and bridge pickup combinations and how much they change tone. The amp used is a 1963 blonde Fender Bandmaster with new tubes, capacitors and 2 x 12 in. Jensen speakers.
Recorded live February 18, 2009 at Brandees Nightclub in Kingston, Ontario

  • Gretsches are like Lays potato chips. You can't have just one! LOL - Rock out Michelle! I've good a midweek gig so back in a day!

    dB

  • Just a word of warning: Potato chips make the worst guitar picks. I know, I've tried. But nachos? Well now you're talking Senor!

  • Just as long as the riffs are spicy hot like the emcees of certain radio stations!

Gretsch minions unite, The Empress Senorita offers words of wisdom, once written, now red!
