@Guitarmoster007 dude that setup has you future proofed for a good 3 or 4 years, that will easily let you run any game on the market at complete max graphics

i cant wait till the rest of my build comes :), Amd phenom II X4, radeon 5770, should be awsome

@linuxrobotdude Well, the looks arent going to be noticeable. but the actual feel of the gameplay, ie, animations, will be smoother. you have to be a seasoned pc gamer to notice. but i def notice when i drop fps.

How many FPS do you think the 5770 would get on cod 4 with an i7 950 overclocked to about 4 ghz?

@kresge97 Over what I got. But really, most monitors refresh @ 60 Hz. That means even if the fps is 60, or 1000,not even a high speed camera could tell the difference. And either way - the human eye can see no more than 40 fps, so what is the point of caring. Just know that you will not experience lag in the game - ever.

@linuxrobotdude U ARE RITE BUT IN ONLINE GAMES IT MATTERS ALOT .. U CANT BEAT 250FPS GUY WITH 60FPS IF BOTH ARE EQUAL.

@masoodshah84 well he only really has 250 fps if his monitor uses a 250+ Hz refresh rate otherwise the monitor is the bottleneck.
