@hammerogod You have to agree that the Lord expects us to figure things out thru faith nd prayer.Your right it doesn't raise those points but the truth is obvious.The Christ and all the apostles foretold the apostasy and an eventual restoration.Restoration of whatt exactly hammer? And if an angel was BRINGING the everlasting gospel to preach then what is the Obvious inference of that passage of scripture.I d be interested to hear your interpretation of the verse.

@hammerogod I suggest it is you guys who do the twisting. The verse says ...the Word wasWITH God, then says the Word WAS God...pls explain that. The WORD WAS God and then the Word was WITH God. Obviously it means and refers to two gods. Jesus Christ and his Father. Both being two separate identities/Gods.Simple

@hammerogod so if one is to accept that what John referred to was His delivery of the gospel by him as explained here in your quoted verse would therefore mean that you can by your logic forget everything all the other apostles had to say beyond and after Johns delivery of the gospel on this One particular occassion. The enlightened mind would not accept your argument brother.

@kramd1 go to the-book-of-mormon.comt I remember them mentioning about steel and horses. There are pictures depicting horses. "Tapirs" were old hypothesis of some scholars. Research changes throughout the generation, and people are finding more and more evidences.

I'm sorry. How can mormons say they believe the bible and ignore taught truths and straight-up warnings about additional doctrines and gospels. like hammergod said, The LDS don't even need the bible. That's a whole new religion and a whole new Jesus being preached.

There is more evidence for the BofM than the Bible.

Ask for peer-reviwed for supposed Biblical proofs.

Archeology does not support the historicity of the Old Testament.

There are people, including me, who are open-minded enough (barely) to accept incontrovertable peer-reviewed evidence that supports the BoM.

We, or at least I, won't accept more excuses.

Archaeology has been going on in Meso-America for well over 100 years.

The LDS has put nothing on the table that isn't old news.

All I have seen from the LDS so far are re-evaluations of evidence that has already been categorically and repeatedly proven NOT to be related to the BoM.
