Moody Lane (Grimsby) & Woad Lane level crossing (Great Coates), North East Lincolnshire.
Saturday 21st January 2012.
Loco's featured: DB Schenker Class 60 No. 60011 (with 60049 dead on the rear).

A night video of an engineer's working on the Grimsby to Immingham Light Railway, consisting ballast from Doncaster Up Decoy yard to Barnetby. DB Schenker Class 60 No. 60011 leads the train, with 60049 tagging along on the rear. The first video is from the tight curve alongside Moody Lane in Grimsby's Pyewipe Industrial Estate. The second is a sideways view from Woad Lane level crossing at Great Coates (this isn't the video I wanted, as I wanted one on the station itself. However, just when I arrived, the station lights went out, and I didn't have time to get to Healing or anywhere else, so apologies for the focus loss at times).

  • @back2frinky Glad I went at that time of night, as the same train was booked to take the Light Railway again the next morning, but it reversed at Barnetby instead. As far as I know, there are no trains booked on the Light Railway next Saturday or Sunday.

  • Blimey, that's late-night dedication. Do you have any times for next Sunday, 12th Feb? Thanks.
