OPERATION X - Mind Games

Born under the spontaneous lust for creativity of a 17 years old guitar schizo, George Karafotis joins forces with drummer and friend Chrisafis Tantanozis of metalers CRYSTAL TEARS and creates Mind Games, an instrumental track full of power, aggression and passion. George: "It was so great working with Chrisafis, an overwhelming experience indeed! For the first time I pushed myself over the line and realised the magic of a music production. I loved the way recordings were done, we had lots of fun and I knew I had to put all my positive energy in it and even more! I humbly think it deserved all the effort and I truly wish you enjoy this tune as much as we did creating it!"

Chrisafis: "It was such a great pleasure working with this youngster; I truly love it, when young people have so much to give, they are open-minded and dedicated to their music! And despite any differences, I've learned a lot! My best wishes, the future looks bright!"

George Karafotis is the lead guitar player and mainman of VERMILLION DAYS. This thrash-death metal quartet was formed in 2007 and counts already one demo CD ("In The Warfield", 2009) and lots of shows in their hometown, most significant ones being with TANKARD and FLOTSAM & JETSAM. The band is currently working hard for a full-length album aiming to give unique character to their sound.
