  • @aero105 This guy is Jeff Ocheltree. He was John Bonham's drumtech. I'm sure that he got sick and tired of being asked how Bonham got his sound by every drummer that he met so he made this video to explain it. He's not just some random fan who happens to own the kit and be obsessed with John Bonham. This guy really worked with the man and he's just trying to pass along his knowledge. Although I do agree that there are some people who just take it overboard.

  • very informative video. but i was hoping you would actually play the damn thing!

  • this is jeff ocheltree, and this is a great video of him explaining in thorough detail of john bonhams kit. thanks for the upload!

  • ludwig cowbell made by pasti. that dont make sence

  • MOMMY !!! i want that for my birthday

  • the snare sounds beautiful

  • @metallicaaddict451 They were merged at one time and you could purchase Avedis Zildjian Cymbals as well as their Ludwig brand Imported Cymbals (Paiste) with a Ludwig stamp on them through the Ludwig Catalogs. In the 1964 Ludwig Catalog a 22" Zildjian was listed for $70 and a 22" Ludwig listed for $45. They also had Ludwig Symphonic Gongs (Paiste) that listed for $140 for a 28" or $425 for a 38" in the 1964 book. By 1969 they had stopped listing them. If only my time machine worked... LOL

  • @jas0nv00r33s I think he started using the sound control drum heads when he started using the Vistalites.

  • love the man, but get out of john bonhams anus
