AU. Meaning no, they're not related in this. Claire's POV.

Peter and Claire are in a relationship, but it gets tense with the knowledge that he's going to blow up. Thinking that it will be easier if they push the other away, they're either fighting or not talking. In the end, Claire discovers pushing Peter away didn't make losing him any easier.
