@ArbortechAust OMG the tool arrived in the mail already today holy cow that was fast gulp. So I tried it out on a piece of wood so far and yep she seems to cut great. What an amazing piece of equipment.
I downloaded the spring rebate sheet and will fill it out and fax it in tomorrow thanks :-).

@ChrisW12208 Fantastic! Chris if you are based in the US, we have a special Spring promotion running until the end of May. Buy an AS170 and you get a FREE set of NEW Head Joint blades. You just need to go to AS170.com and click on the "Spring Rebate" button and to print out a claim form. Cheers Aly

@ArbortechAust 2 new blades??? Cool I just ordered the AS170 today and CANNOT WAIT to use it :-). I have a couple jobs right now I need it for. I am used to chiseling out bricks with a hammer and chisel :-(. Talk about yucky. Also I have been getting the wrong tuckpointing bits for various tools and the as170 has the tuckpoint blade yay. Also the as170 cuts roots and that feature is very awesome :-).

Good spotting Chris and thanks for commenting! It's just one AS170 brick + mortar saw just with different blades fitted to suit the different applications. There are a number of different blades available including two new blades now available...Heritage and Head Joint for precision removal of mortar. Cheers, Aly, Arbortech

Works well but stupidly expensive! owned one for 5yr now great for taking out lintels and cutting in DPC or airbricks.

@topgrafter2007 Yep...it's not a cheap tool. But we've invested years in the research and development of the AS170, so I hope that you've found that it has paid for itself now, and allowed you to do jobs easier and more efficiently than you could have done with other tools or methods!
