De jeunes gens oisifs et fortunés font une croisière en Méditerranée près des îles Éoliennes. Lors d'une escale sur l'île volcanique de Lisca Bianca, Anna, une jeune héritière désabusée, disparaît mystérieusement. L'amant et la meilleure amie entreprennent des recherches. Une idylle naît entre eux.

if you search on youtube there's a trailer for Bergman's 'Through a Glass Darkly' done in exactly the same awkward style as this. with the little blurb descriptions of the characters. might be the same voice. I guess it took a while for people to figure out how to make a good trailer, especially for an art film.
