Game 5: Mavericks 94 Hornets 99

My Dallas Mavericks get eliminated from the 2008 NBA playoffs but the New Orleans Hornets. I am livid at how pathetic we played in this series and especially at Jerry Stackhouse for causing a stupid technical foul. The Dallas Mavericks should be embarrassed. Congratulations Chris Paul and the New Orleans Hornets.

you are a true to the heart fan right here. i do agree with you. 2 years ago, oh man dallas was right up there. i remember how the suns and the mavericks were neck and neck to be number one in the western conference.

no worries though. their going to get back up there soon. same with the suns. and then it would be a real good season.

Yo, u have no idea how much i agree with your video.. mavericks were the best team and stupid things cost them 06 and 07... however.. jerry can c us deteriorating and he does something that costs us the game..

Dallas can still win with dirk nowitzki leading the charge however it wont b as easy........ the mavs are not serious contendors right now but dirk is playing phenominal as always.. every1 else needs 2 get act 2gether.. especially rick karlile... he should isolate dirka nd caroll and own

Hi man ^^ I am a italian Nba fan and I think it will be difficult to repeat a run at the Nba playoffs for the Mavs... It's true that the players are the same but you can't have a magical season like 2005-2006 so easily... Honestly I think that Dallas didn't stand much chances against New Orleans...Why? Simple! If you can't guard Paul you can't win... And Kidd and Terry are not able... Cya!

Chris Paul burned Jason Kidd throughout the serious and Averaged 28.8 points 10.9 assits and 2.6 steals.This was also the main reason why the Mavericks got beat in the series,Also the Hornets were more agressive down low and the Mavericks are more of a finest team which wasn't going to get the job done against the Hornets.

I know how you feel. i HATE when the Nuggets are down by like 20 in the last 4 minutes and they start coming back, only to lose in the end. why do they even bother coming back if their not gonna try, or even attempt, to complete the comeback?

The irony of this is, we were a farily young team ourselves when we beat San Antonio (and Phoenix). Then we got old, and got beat by two young teams in the first round two years in a row.

The roster needs to be revamped again. Let's just hope they bring in some younger blood this time and maybe Dirk can get another shot at the trophy. After all, it didn't seem like it would only be two years after the 'Toine disaster and the departure of Nash that we would be playing in the Finals.

Everyone else is new, and most of them are just worthless old farts. After the Miami fiasco, the dumbass FO decided we needed more "veteran experience" and brought in a bunch of players whose wheels had already fallen off and who were mediocre in their prime anyway.

We lost young guys like Daniels, Mbenga, and of course Harris and brought in Austin Croshere, Greg Buckner, Anthony Johnson, Kevin Willis (?), Eddie Jones, Trenton Hassell, Malik Allen, Jamall Magloire (?), and Juwan Howard. Yuck.
