Gimme Gimme Good Lovin'

Debut
Peaked
Written by: J. Levine & R. Cordell
A Super K Production
Produced by J. Levine & A. Resnicki
A product of Kasenetz Katz Assoc.

This is the ORIGINAL HOT MONO MIX that sounds so much better than the thin, wimpy stereo mix. This more powerful sounding version is what made this record a hit, not the awful sounding stereo mix. Oldies Radio programmers - please play this version!!!

  • you should spend less time showing the labels. Oh yeah, FINGERS OFF THE GROOVES!

  • The label contains info not often found elsewhere (such as the writer, producer, etc )- which you don't get with MP3's.

But to skip the label on this video, just move the slider to the 13 second mark.

  • Keep on doin' what you're doin', Spencer. Showing the labels close-up is an invaluable service to all vinyl record collectors.

This one made the charts in late spring 1969, and you can hear Joey Levine's unmistakable "uh-uh-uh's" going into the instrumental break. My copy of this disc is on vinyl; yours is styrene with the stamped label.

  • They're your videos so u can put whatever u want on them. But I still wish u would go back to putting under the info section the year the record was released and how high it hit on the charts.

  • Please keep showing the labels!

  • I read the labels and the writing in the run off grooves. If the formula works don't fix it.

Thanks for sharing your vast collection.

  • The informations of the labels are very important to me!

  • @WABCRADIO77

    Very polite and logical response!

    God bless you, man!

  • @WABCRADIO77 One possibly reasonable compromise would be to show the label after the song is over. It's easier to skip if it's at the end. That way, we could make some cool playlists, and all that would be required while playing the playlist is to skip to the next video once the song is over.

But hey, it's your channel, and your videos. You can do things however you like.

  • I like that you show the labels. And thanks for uploading this song!

  • What a great tune!
