It's obvious that Michael realizes the struggles of African Americans. He is one of the good guys who acknowledge the racism that we as Americans need to overcome in order to build a better Americans. For those of you who disagree with what he's saying, 99.9% of you support what pastor Manning said about African American men, as well as what he said about Obama being trash; which makes you either a racist or ignorant to the facts. How dare we reduce 30 yrs of loving ministry to secs soundbite

G. D. word, being a Reverend... myself, I do try not 2 use that, if I ever do (which is very very rare) it is never directed towards a person...we are supposed to have freedom of speech, we should be able to state the truth in this country...Many problems world wide big time and we must pull together with Compassion, Integrity, Truth, Love and Justice and soon, I pray it is not to late...take care, God Bless you and yours

personally Rev. Wright was a tad over the top 4 the "Average American" 2 handle...however, let me state for the record, I am by no means an expert or recall all he said...***what i do recall was pretty close or perhaps the truth... except I do think he should not have used the

Father Michael Pfleger sounds a lot like John McCain's Pastor,Rev. John Hagee . There should be more priests like him. He has "fire in the belly." Hillery and Bill's self-appointed best friend, Pastor David Manning, Harlem, New York, is about equally controversal, in a reverse way. folks do not criticize men of God. They are all called to preach for different reasons. They are all imperfect. There good work far outways their faults.
Pandering is to portray one's views to fit in line with a certain crowd of voters the candidate is attempting to impress, when often, these are not the candidate's true beliefs. A candidate may engage in pandering out of desperation if s/he is already losing a race, or if polls taken prior to an election show others as being in the lead.

I agree. If Obama was pandering he would have agreed with the gas tax hype. We need leaders who would not say nor exploit people's fear from terrorism (Mccain) to racism (Hillary) in order to win.

I agree. It scares many people when the raw truth comes out. Instead of trying to understand where the anger can possibly be coming from (hmm...I wonder), they play the role of the victim.

Fixed News has alredy spun this and called this Pflegger Obama's Priest. How sickening is it when a major, well former major news organization is willing to risk its reputation by telling its viewer a blatant lie in order to smear a candidate with virtually no flaws!
