I'm not afraid of making fun my double minority

I actually liked Van Helsing too. I thought the monster effects more AWESOME even if the female lead annoyed me at times.

@lacthewatcher1 Of course lets not forget Kenneth Branagh's attempt at the book. Or maybe we should....

I have to say about Van Helsing: He SMOOSHED HER TO DEATH. He didn't slash her he just landed on her and smooshed her to death. I was watching it with my brother (I'd already seen it in the theater) and during her death scene I yelled out: HE SMOOSHED HER and my brother nearly died laughing.
I just feel it never lived up to its full potential. It was too all over the place and I love monster movies ><

@Otokogoroshi Yeah, I always had trouble deciding what killed her since there were no marks. I assumed he snapped her neck or her back. I call it the Death Tackle. xD

I never did get to see Ferngully when I was younger, I begged my parents to take me, they never did. I'll have to remember to rent the DVD at some point.

@JadeLiCat Don't go in with high expectations. It's still goofy, but I find it rather cute.

While I'm not a huge fan of Van Helsing, I can appreciate Stephen Summers Accuracy to the original incarnation of the Daemon of Frankenstein (See how I called it "The Daemon"? I iz smartish!)

@lacthewatcher1 xD Yes, you are. I read Frankenstein two semesters ago so it's still a little fresh in my mind and I had to give Van Helsing at least some credit.
