Yes, it was brought back from England during the war for the Bond drive, and is presently in Memphis TN as a memorial. You can go actually go through it, or at least you could back in 1994.

@shreader327 It is. I took my picture next to it in June of this year. Andrews Air Force Base. They must have moved it from a museum or something if it was legit, I think it was.

This is the Yankee Lady, 1 of 13 flyable today. Its home is Belleville Michigan at Willow run airport. They offer rides and ive been in it. its truely a blast, come see it!!!
does anyone know if the memphis Belle is still in existence?

All I know is.... the original seats for the pilots had a depression in em for their big nads so they wouldnt sit on while making runs...........Bombs away.............
