  • And how it would work against Gracies? You should realize that Tui Shou is just training tool, nothing more, nothing less ... it's not real fight. Real fight looks a bit different and honestly, I don't know who would be better fighter - whether someone form Chen Clan, or someone form Gracie family ... it just depends on each fighter.

  • Hi guys & gals, sorry for late response, but Youtube didn't allow me to post comments for my own videos ...

Well this video is awesome, but I've got only this one from Chen style TJQ, nothing else ... anyways, it's cool, isn't it? ;)

  • Yes push hands is just a drill. Rather than stress over which art is the 'best' we should focus on one suitable for us and be best in it. In the end its the person and less the art.

  • if it was under your nose you wouldn't know

  • @s1unick0 tui shou is training, but it is not only thing in Chen Taiji... i think, that tui shou is something you need to know before you start learning taiji "sanda/ sanshou". As you said, tui shou is training tool.

  • Did you all see how he moves in 01:05? That's amazing!

  • @s1unick0 Chen Ziqiang vs a Gracie? Well, let's put it this way. I'd get into a fight with a Gracie and have a belief that it's possible to win.

Chen Ziqiang is a scary scary man.

  • @TheWorldTaiji where can one find such fight videos? please post if available. thanks

  • @Thailearner

You need to train your eyes to look for the real thing!

No, it's not cool... That what I call - fake material art. Chen Zhiqiang got beat by Wang Xian's son in Chen Village and Chen Zhiqiang only demo this push hands with his own students. Please watch his Chen Zhiqiang's competition in chen Village in 1998... He was only running around like everybody else. He couldn't use any of these external moves at the real competition! Reality check - man!

  • It's really a show between him and his students. He paid for his team to get into the BIG san shou competition in China. Of course, he won... :-)

  • cool

  • @cfG21 I am definitely not at this level, but the Taji and Sil Lum I had learned made me a pretty decent wrestler. I have been told I have good hips. I also train BJJ and I have also told I am extremely difficult to take down. When standing grappling with Gi, I find that you can use the hand sensitivity to avoid grips (Like avoiding grips on your pants in the guard) and then when there is an attack, accept it and move to knee on chest or mount or ...

  • Request you to share more on this Tui Shou, and other serious training. Thanks
