Inspired by George Romero's Dead films, "Day Nine" tells the story of a teenager's struggle to survive in a zombie onslaught. With his family gone and food supplies running low, how does one survive in a world overrun by the living dead? Shot in 2004. Stay after the credits for a message from the filmmakers/bloopers.

  • I love the way the zombie in the red hoodie walked toward the house. I've had nights like that too lol

  • @TheBonneFamily perhaps this is not a normal family. Instead of cars, they may take a bike and the garuge may have been lockd. Maybe he didn't really like his family (incase u didnt see he didn't go out looking for them). The outbreak seemd to be very young. In the beginings of an outbreak, the tv wouldn't change over untill theres litterally packs of them walking in the streets. As for the power outage, that could of been for dramatic effect. Lets see your 10 star zombie flick.

  • You people are saying this is amazing because you have shallow taste, they're just doing the normal point A to point B horror film features, and not actually trying to make up a zombie outbreak setting for a young teen. It would've went down waaay differently.

  • I think if you're going to make a short film, you should try to make it something to shout about. Another problem, is the t.v. is broadcasting the normal schedule when there should be a emergency broadcast thingy unless the outbreak is happening in his backyard but then that still wouldn't explain the random power outage. Zombies aren't smart enough to want to turn the power off or capable of running into any kind of source of power hard enough to turn it off.

  • Ummm... some of this just doesn't pay homage to an average family. Like what teenage boy walks in and stands around at the door wondering if anyone is home when he should've noticed any cars outside and remembered the concert? And doesn't he have his mom's cell? And please, don't say "oh she got a new number". Psh if the director doesn't emphasize on that detail, then it never happened. :| It was just a lame attempt to make it seem more real, when it just made it seem more cookie cutter.

  • Music from "The Descent"?

  • why no 720p

  • omg dont go in there o.o

  • Brilliant film...real suspense!
