  • @kistajk : Focusing on breathe is a tool for expanding consciousness. One exercise to improve your awareness of the breath would be to lay down on your back and place your hands on your stomach. Breathe into your hands and feel them rise with an inhalation and fall with the exhalation. google 'Dirga Pranayama' for more info.

  • When you said 'focus on your breathe', what do you exactly mean? I heard it many times on many video, but I don't really understand. Some said to not think about the breathe at all, let it happen naturally while others seem to require us to concentrate on the breathing process.

Can you please explain a bit more? Thanks! :)

  • Ever have any hallucinations doing this stuff?

  • Any relaxing music is good. Smooth jazz is a good example preferably without lyrics / singing. And, make sure you have music (songs) programmed to equal your meditation time (10-35 minutes), as not to be interrupted. Peace.

  • actually for most beginners these are bad ways to start meditation. Because the merdian channels are so out of balence the bent knees can cause further disbalences. Maybe if you have been practicing yoga and tia chi or have superior training about human potential... it is recommended that you begin a meditation in a chair with your legs almost straight, slightly bent like it was a high chair. just be carfeful... kundalini or chi can cause problems as well if accumulated incorecctly.

  • thanks!
