@jeremyfrancis Like most Xians you have chosen to nimbly leap around the issues. Rather than responding to a single example of the contents of your holy book you avoid the obvious and preach me a little sermon. Fail. And at the end of the story the Prince rides up on his White Horse, rescues the princess, marries her, and takes her away to live happily ever after in his mansion in the sky. Only those inside the delusion can take this seriously. To everyone else it is obviously a fairy tale.

@Imaginefree69 it is a testament of our faith. Read it, and you may actually find out what it really says. It's a love letter. If you're reading the Bible just to tear it apart and make it out to be something sickening and evil, you will do just that. "Everything is permissible -- but not everything is beneficial." 1 Cor 10:23

We true Christians don't see us as slaves to God; we are our Savior's servants. Jesus teaches us to love our neighbors, especially our enemies. Come follow Him, brother.

Aside from the unicorns and talking snakes and donkeys

and the requirement to practice ritualized cannibalism

we see that your god commanded his people

to rip little girls from the bloody arms of their dead mothers

and take them home to enjoy

and to share them with YHVH's priests.
