President Barack Obama is directing his administration to ramp up U.S. oil production by extending existing leases in the Gulf of Mexico and off Alaska's coast and holding more frequent lease sales in a federal petroleum reserve in Alaska. (May 14)

June-23-2011--The US, after authorizing the release of 30 million barrels of oil from its emergency stockpile, is prepared to take additional action if needed to react to disruptions in world supplies, according to an Obama administration official. The decision to draw oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, part of an international move to release 60 million barrels, Viken Z kokozian, INFO-AWARENESS.

Right wing owned oil companies will keep gas prices high so they can blame Obama.They did the same thing to Carter, gas prices doubled during Carter but when reagan became president they went even higher.

Calm down obamamaniacs! He can see the handwritting on the wall and wants to get re-elected! Notice that Obama NOW (suddenly) starts careing about Gas prices and stuff that he should have addressed YEARS ago, now that he is starting his re-election campaign. I hope you all can see what he is up to. Everyone with half a brain can see it.
