Researchers are warning that rising global temperatures could see a shift in the world's traditional staples and who grows them. They predict that maize, wheat and rice will decrease in many developing countries - forcing farmers to replace them with crops more resistant to heat, drought and flooding.

Trends over a longer period of time tend to be less "quirky" than immediate, temporary predictions.

They're lying to you... in a closed agriculture setup using a greenhouse or indoor hydroponics/aeroponics they supplement the plants with additional CO2 for accelerated growth so limiting CO2 while heat goes up will decrease crops, while not having a CO2 carbon tax would actually lead to increased plant growth. A key example is the Jurassic Period when Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide were vastly increased compared to now... Giant Dinosaurs, Giant Plants.... you do the math.

AJE, you need to get the likes of Shudi Ghosh and Rita Fahri, Barghoutti, Sami Zaidan and such hosting your talk shows like the stream, inside story, empire, etc. They ask better questions than, to be blunt many of your male british, journalists (better than some of the women too). Ghosh's question about land grabs by wealthy countries in developing nations at the 16 min mark here is a prime example of this. Have these people host all the talk shows, they simply are more rational, objective and

You hit the nail on the head here Amigo! Very true - I was just watching a news report yesterday about how the IMF sent a team to Egypt just recently to discuss new loans - financial slavery at its best ... we have to stand-up and say a clear "No" to these banksters!

We better get ride of these central banks and world banks because they are the root of all these problems. Because people can have a little farm for them and their families but they are to poor. Why are they poor because their countries are controled by central banks because they borrow money from these banks and these banks dont have money they just created it. Also the governments have to pay interest on every currency that is printed. Its crazy
