This lamp is inspired by maple leaves. The goal of the piece is to weld metal and fuse glass instead of using traditional stained glass soldering methods. A single piece of Bullseye Glass Co. White, Orange Opal, Deep Forest Green Fusible Streaky Glass is cut in a pattern with maple leaf edges. Veins in the leaves are created by fusing a layer of clear glass pieces over the streaky glass. The glass is slumped through welded stainless steel support beams.

Thanks to koderunner for the kanun music!

  • @911no Thank you! We live in California, and it looks like you are in Texas. It's too bad we live so far away. I've enjoyed watching your metalworking videos. It would be a lot of fun to work together if we lived closer.
