  • friggin mobile skips

  • @caravanchannel 8 week

  • look like

  • @caravanchannel Does this rule apply only to caravans or trailers too?

  • these aren't towing techniques; these are coupling techniques

  • No Gloves (so you car would get dirty when you go and drive off) and you did not check the lights were working before driving off

  • I just bought my first caravan today! a 1993 Swift Azaura, We pick it up on Wednesday :)

Thank you for the great a video caravanchannel :)

  • Training is the key - all caravaners need either to burn their caravan or get some professional driving training (preferably an articulated licence) so that they don't end up creating a major wreck. Some recently I've seen on the road should be shot at their attempt in driving. They are a disgrace. Can't beleive they spent $100,000 on a vehicle and van and drive like a dickhead. Obviously they're loaded.

  • This is very helpfull - I seen a guy wreck his bumper because he took the caravan off without the handbrake on .....

    good info - cheers

  • I read on the DVLA homepage that legislation regarding trailer lights will change from 2010, but information was scarce. The change seems to involve the legal requirement to have a reversing light or lights (unclear) on the trailer. This will then apparently require vehicles to use the 13 pin plug to allow for this. Most new caravans have a reversing light already and many caravan manufacturers are already fitting the 13pin plug. Will older trailers/caravans will need to be retrofitted?
