Fluffy Persian at a Cat Show

This fluffy and cute persian cat was this judges number 1 cat.

Not too surprising, since persians usually do well and are popular in the cat show ring.

@5silverfox: Does this gorgeous kitty belong to you? I ask because I just watched some of your other videos and I get that you enjoy making videos of sundry animals, and I didn't see any Persians in your home. Do you know who the owner of that show Persian is and what cattery she was from?

@dazzle7000 no, this cat isn't mine. I don't know where the Persian is from, but the show was in Santa Rosa, California, so, probably somewhere North of San Francisco?

A beautiful Persian, obviously! I played #12 three times and I didn't see the judge throw this cat -- he placed her on the table on all fours and she was fine! She was a handful and I think he wanted to place her on the table without mussing her coat. No big deal, really. If I had made this video I definitely would have removed all the irrelevant and rude comments!

@dazzle7000 yeah, I know, he didn't throw the cat, the cat just momentarily loss her balance when landing on the table. Not hurt at all, in fact, this cat was very calm.

At 0:12, the judge threw the cat on the table like a sack of apples. If that were my cat up there, you would then see in the video me jumping over the table at 0:13, beating the living crap out of the judge. Yes, I do breed Persian and Himalayan cats and yes, I did at one time show them successfully in CFA shows. It's because of treatment like that that I now only breed for breeder/pet purposes.

I have persians too, but as for showing? There are more cats on TWO legs than four at these events! But the quality and care that went into breeding these stunning animals is evident for all to see, and no, i dont think the cats particularly mind the handling they get by the judges. Serious 'show' people tend to be rather irritating.....

And the way he has to raise him and place him back on the table ilike that is to judge wether the cat is heavy built and coby or not.
