@stilljinfinity Yes as mentioned previously (above) 6 students should have been chosen, but at the time I had a brain cramp and chose 8 :)

I think there is a mistake in stratified random sampling. correct way should be as follows:
Think a percentage to get from males.(40%) then you should get (100 - 40)% from females. calculate as follows:
you need select 6 for the sample. so from males, 6 x 40% = 2.4 --> 2. and from females 6 x 60% = 3.6 --> 4.
now select 2 from males and 4 from females.

Thanks to youtube for leading me towards this veyr good video of a nice man such as your are. OMG I easily fall for men who are very good at statistics because we will tak about it the whole day lol. Seriously, thank you so much because the samples that you have given for sampling have clarified everything. Books abotu statistics are mostly not reader friendly. They give superificial samples that are irrelevant to the experience of beginners like me.

I want Music Sampling not Math man get this video off this place.

Sorry to bother u but I have a project but I'm not sure if I understood it correctly.
Is there anything such as "stratified sampling with cost" and "theoretical sampling with cost" ?

woops... i was looking for hip hop sampling NOT MATHS!!!! lol
-
Why not stratify first and then select a sample using a fixed interval and random start point?

nice way to chop up a sample. lets see you make a nice song with those samples.:P i searched sampling techniques for music haha
Based on some feedback, I've changed the title of this video to ensure people know it's about survey sampling, i.e. mathematics, and not music sampling. Although, music sampling sounds fun!

why did u choose 8, when u should choose only 6 respondents

Correct. The third technique should have only taken 6 people, not 8. Thanks.
