  • WOW! Atheist should have an apologetics side to apologize for atheist like Loftus. This has to be the worst debate that Dinesh has been apart of. God bless you all.

  • I cannot believe what D'Souza is saying starting at 7:14. First, that there are 2 religious streams in the world. So animism, nature religions don't count? Then he goes on to say that the difference between Catholicism and Protestantism is the view on transubstantiation. He says they agree on 99% of core doctrines. Is he really that ignorant? No one should debate this guy again, they are legitimizing an incompetent.

  • "Loftus: I don't get the applause that he does" LOL. This Loftus clearly did not do well in this debate, almost crying, but yet still claiming that he did quite ok later in his blog.

  • @koyunbaba73 D'Souza is a great debate, his debates with Hitchens, Dennet, Barker, those are amazing debates.

  • Dinesh is just plain dumb.

  • I feel sorry for Loftus... It is sad...

  • @CamAtheist Dinesh could be unaware of the tings you mention, that does not make him deserve such a tirade unless he did know, secretly. I am a Christian; but I do not think the things people see when they are near death is given by God. I too think it is because of the lack of oxygen.

  • This was a disappointment after seeing Dinesh debate some other, more intellectual, Atheists. I have never heard of Loftus, but his arguments were embarrassing, to say the least. It goes without saying that Dinesh won the debate, but it wasn't because (necessarily) of the absolute strength of his arguments, but because he didn't have an adversary that deserves the name. The Hitchens debate, I thought, was much more stimulating.

  • dinesh is defending an untenable subject from my point of view.

  • Loftus tries to hard to plead and be 'funny'
