  • Looks like a jumping patella - what was the diagnosis?

  • @LaRanaTJ his right elbow is bending into his rib cage..the complete program of exercises to reeducate this horse and his remarkable recovery can be found on the dvd the horse that could not trot.. at scienceofmotion com

  • Was the horse seen to be a chiropractor or physiotherapist?

  • @Xsaraize Yes it was ....

  • blester6661@verizon.net- This is a problem I believe not easy to find, but I think it is in the lumba-sacro area with vertibrae involvement. I have a mare that exhibits the same problem and the Veterinarians have not solved it. I need the newsletter and want to save my mare. How can I get the newsletter or pay for an analysis. I believe that Jean Luc Cornille is a Master and I have trained horses to Grand Prix and know he has much to teach us. .

  • @Rubota Did you get our email to you yesterday? On this horse in video it is in his elbow, it turns into his ribcage...newsletter link is on our site..scienceofmotionDOTcom

  • that's what i was able to see, tail flipped sideways most of the time and disability to bend to the right. he's also always cantering with the left and slightly bending to the left, but reluctant to go on the right lead. amazing recovery and pretty amazing how one can find the exact problem by riding with feeling and consideration towards the horse.

  • Body cues tells me left hind originating from the hip. Tail is held to the left.

  • So what WAS the diagnosis?

  • @jcorava In the description, it says that they could not figure out what was wrong with the horse - that it was a behavior problem. The length of riding was probably due to trying to really feel out and record the horse moving in multiple directions and at different speeds. This would give them a better chance at figuring out what and where the problem is. It's sad that it had to be done, but it was needed to find out.
