I had to read the book as part of the IB programme and I didn't like it that much then, but now I understood why. I was concentrating too much on dissecting the book, analysing it,... I focused on what I could take away from the book, rather than what the book itself could give me and teach me.

I loved the film because it helped me fix in my memory all the characters, places and events that my fantasy had created while reading the story.

Definitely worth seeing- and thinking about its message :)
