NOTE: WMG made me swap the audio in this video. This made me sad since the video is synched for "Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots, Pt. 1" by The Flaming Lips. The current song, "You Push Me" by Tokyo Vogue, doesn't synch quite as well, the song is actually quite good and fits quite well. The heavy use of synthesizers is a perfect fit for the era this anime was made and the cyberpunkish theme.

This is my AMV tribute to one of my favorite anime, Bubblegum Crisis. I focused it mainly on my favorite character in the show, Nene.

  • Very good job you did. I like this song you used. Even thought Nene was not a fighter. Nene never gave up knowing that the odds were against her. labelashavoc (:~>?=

  • @labelashavoc Thank you. :) It was not easy finding a suitable replacement song to fit this video, but when I saw the name of this band in YouTube's audioswap collection, I figured any band with Tokyo in their name has got to have at least one song suitable for an AMV. :) I'm considering remaking this video so the clips synch better with the new song. I like the song that much. Though it was released in 2005, it still has an 80's sound which is perfect for BGC. :)

  • Ahh, well okay then :p

    Just kinda sounded odd xD

  • Well, WMG made me switch the audio on this video. :( I only just recently got around to changing it though. Let me know what you think of the new song.

  • I've never seen any non-subtitled versions of the original 8 episodes online either. But yeah, the original 8 episodes of Bubblegum Crisis are one of the few anime that I actually own.

  • You mean you actually ripped them yourself? O_o

I honestly don't think I know anyone who doesn't download their anime....

  • Thanks! :) To the best of my knowledge, there are no english dubbed versions of the original 8 episodes, and I have never seen any japanese versions in stores without the english subtitles, but I agree it would have made a better video without the subtitles.

  • Woulda been cooler if you'd of used episodes without subtitles, but still awesome *favs*

  • Great song, Realy cool vid.
