First time using my Gopro HD Hero2. The video is time lapsed in 2 second intervals. With two different SD cards. There was about 1500 pictures taken total. You will notice that there are some purple frames, more so when there was little light. Not sure why.

I enjoy time lapses and added a little music in there.

Music:
Stars of the lid: A meaningful moment.

  • This particular SD card was a sandisk 16GB class 4. I have the battery PAC so it lasts around 3-4 hrs depending. I have since upgraded to the recommended SD card.....PNY 32GB class 10.

  • What kind of sofware did u use to get the timelapse in HD..? I use Quicktime pro 7, but that's not in 1080..... :P

  • @RimiHagen96 I used sony vegas Pro 10, very good program for editing HD

  • what is the frame rate you chose?

  • @Skibumboy I used the 11MP still picutres and combined them all together. there was about 1400 pictures used.

  • @TheJeepWheeler thanks duude! :)

  • How do you remove the black bars are the left and right when putting photos together for a time lapse?

  • @Kamak86 how do you do time lapse in Vegas Pro?

  • hey great vid mate! what are the still image quality like using 11mp?

  • awesome timelapse , mate.

    really nice vid.

  • @RimiHagen96

Quicktime Pro 7 actually can convert your timelapse pictures into 1080p. When you are about to export them click "Options" and go from there, i run mine at 1920X1080 HD. Check my timelapses.

  • i have exact that same problem... but sometimes worse..i mailed them a couple of times and they told me to send it. (it will be repaired).

    nice vid!

  • How many GB on your SD cards? And how long did the battery last? Considering buying one myself and I'm really interested in how it works for time-lapse projects.

    Thanks in advance!

    / Luke
