it's easy 2 block punts on ps2. somehow I blocked a field goal one time but I have no idea how it happend. it was in one of those situation things and the LB on the field goal block formation got it.

that doesnt work because he tries to drop back when the ball is snapped and you dont take of as fast.

Man all you gotta do is turn offsides off and then you can run straight into punts man no tactics about it

Also, it helps to go to Settings>Visuals>the line visuals to both so you can see the line of scrimmage to make sure your not offsides. You don't have to get a line backer just the fastest guy on your team that can be on the punt team and go to the edge and beat the guy off the edge and either dive or press triangle (swat, catch).

If you got a fast punt returner, just put him on the line of scrimmage and anticipate the snap and then you can block the punt.

At 1:54 mark you're showing the punt teams' outside-most blocker lined up WAY outside in basically a WR position-- no team punts with a man in this position (which allows your man through), except for the few times they do, and then they drop him back deep inside as a backfield blocker. im not doing formation "punt block", im doing formation "punt return" the regular one. so it doesn't let the cpu audible into a max protect.

yes, it works even better in 08, because they have more burst of speed.
and im in the regular punt return formation

It would have been nice to see more examples of you blocking a punt. It just seems like you did one and then went into replay and made this. Have more examples next time!
Ive never blocked a punt before so bravo to you.

i have so many videos of me blocking punts, its just that i put them all into one video, and its longer than 10 min. so i can't post on youtube.
