PDCA (Plan Do Check Act) is one of the most important quality, planning and improvement concepts.
It is, however, very often misunderstood and misused, most notably in the ISO 9001:2008 standard.
Gerold gives an explanation about these important differences.

  • @joshuaprasana well, by my understanding he is not comparing, he is telling the difference because the misuse people does of PDCA when thinking about ISO implementation. correct if I am wrong, and yes I do agree anyway, he is a very bad teatcher.

  • Fuck! nobody observed he is not comparing with ISO? He stats the misunderstanding with ISO concepts wich is totally different from this fucking PDCA cicle.

  • somebody stop this man... isint the ISO 9001 technical committee watching this...

  • this man is completely wrong... when he compared PDCA with ISO 9001.... i can challenge with him - HE IS WRONG in his understanding the ISO 9001 interpretation of PDCA.

for every single work, he keeps walking back and forth to the board... the participants sure would have struggled be awake.... he is very slow...

If he has got on to talk about this subject he should have very well prepared and should have had all that he wants to talk in his mind... not in his reference note book.... pathetic..

  • NOT A GOOD TEACHER.....NOT HELPFUL....SORRY TO SAY....

  • He said, PSCA. It's PDSA.

Why can't the people move and sit closer to the trainer.

Why is the PDCA compared to ISO 9001 standards. The whole ISO stuff operates on the Compliance mentality. For PDCA to work you need Commitment mindset. ISO is an insult to the Quality Philosophy which is about continuous improvement. That's why you have ISO certified companies suffering from myopia sickness

  • From Fayol (POCCC "prévoir-organiser-commander-coordonner -contrôler") to Deming PDCA.

  • Yes, the content is good. The lecture is too slow. Participants will be fell asleep at the end of the lecture.

He should move less often and have his notes in his hand. I feel tired just looking at him moving to and fro to check his notes.

The room is too big. Participants seated at the back could hardly see the writings on the flip chart and also the props. He should use overhead projector or better still use and LCD projector with software like powerpoint.

  • I think the content of this video is good, but the guy like is frech...and speck in English ....o God....me too I am from Argentina and I have to spek in English too. but is ok is good content your video.
