AEC 2615 ex DGT Running After 23 Years.

My first video for 2009. Sydney AEC Double Decker Bus 2615 partly owned by my dad David and his friend Andrew. Originally purchased in 1977 and taken to Melbourne for preservation. Has not run since 1986. Started today and moved under its own power after 23 years. The vehicle has been acquired by a private restorer and will return to its former home for a full restoration. ***NOTE THE HEADLIGHT ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE BUS FALLING OFF WHILE THE BUS IS IDLING***

UPDATE: Today the bus has reached Sydney driving up there under its own power. After not having a run for 20 years the bus made it all the way from Croydon, Victoria to Sydney, NSW. A bloody good effort! Thankyou very much Bruce Reynolds for giving 2615 the chance for a new life.
