This is part 3 of a 4 video lesson series I did one VERY early morning, so if I sound tired it's because the coffee hadn't kicked in yet. :-)

Disclaimer: Even though I try to be as accurate as possible by watching Dave closely when I see him live or watch a video, there is still plenty of room for error. Thus this video is merely my interpretation of the original. Enjoy :-)

  • Hey,

Do you hit all 6 strings when you play that first g minor chord, cause it sounds a little weird when I play it.

    Thanks.

  • @theyuv to quote Bruce Lee "Don't think, feeeeeel". But seriously.... keep experimenting and it will come to you. good luck

  • It sounds like you put an extra E note at the end of the infro riff. In the chorus Dave doesn't mute the D string, rather he plays the F and E note the whole time. Very good song and nice picking!

  • post a video of the way you play it :)

  • is that a new guitar??

  • @variableobject its in the timing. its not something you think about you have to feel it. just listen to it live and acoustic and then play it yourself, dont think about it just listen to it, youll know when you got down when your suddenly struck with this urge to bobb your head or tap your foot.

  • Thank you so much! I know this is going to take some time to get for me! Your Lesson was incredibly helpful!
