A Surprise Call from the President

President Obama makes a surprise call to Gail O'Brien, a woman in Keene, NH that is benefiting from the Affordable Care Act. Gail was previously uninsured and diagnosed with high grade non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Thanks to the new law, Gail now has insurance through the new Pre-Existing Condition Insurance Plan that will pay for her treatments, and she is responding very well.

As harsh as this might sound, we dont have a right to treatment for any kind of illness. A persons life is priceless and you could never put a price on anyones life but it wouldnt be realistic to spend a billion tax dollars saving one persons life. It seems like no one in america can grasp the concept that theres over 380,000,000 people here and theres more to life than living a long life.

I don't think this is fair. Yes, the live normal lives, the man says it many times. So why should they get a call from the president? Just because she has cancer? In that case, why doesn't Obama call up everyone in the world who has it? My grandma had cancer and she worked everyday of her life until she died. She got no phone call from Obama. I know it's a kind thing to do of Obama, but it should have been for a family that deserves it. Not just because they have cancer :/
