You say the car in the video the Rovan 305ST with nylon parts and all details cost 879.00 USD in RSC Racing store, but on the website of the store, the same car cost 949.00 USD. What price is the car after all ??

Could you send me one for review? And testing?

There was a guy buying parts from aftermarket guys and sending it to Rovan to clone. He got ratted out but the damage was done. You buy a clone you are not supporting the manufactures that have customer service and quality parts. You are a cancer as are all cloners.

Clones are BS looks like a clone DDM pipe on there. I hope your shit blows up and everyone you sold dies. You kill the small guys like turtle Bartalone and BSW every time you chop shop clone there stuff. Your worse than Integy. Fags!

i love these clones... they are actually great quality!

shit car get an hpi

@SVPrelude Yeah the price is kind of steep, if you want to get into 1/5 scale and save yourself some money you could always buy a roller and purchase the rest of the parts on ebay. You can get a brand new 26cc fuelie for $85 if you look around. By the way if you think $1200 is alot for a 1/5 scale rc look at the fg models, the prices around around $2000+!

@redmax34 Can you show me facts and prove the differences between the two? I'd really like to know.

@SavageRC1 This is what I've been looking for- a real difference between HPI and Rovan. I enjoy HPI's line up- but stepping up from a Savage to a 5T is such a HUGE price difference. The body alone costs up to 160+ unpainted. That was a real shocker to me, that and its lack of selection. I'm thinking it might be best for me to stay w/ the low cost savages. But if I did step into a 1/5 scale world I don't believe it should cost 1200+. I just bought my Daily Driver for 1k :\
I have many different versions of these cars, you can contact JD for more info. at 303 332 6000

The clones are here dude, they are already making an impact with low cost and high performance, that is why HPI only guys hate them, because they overpayed just to have the HPI name, LAME !!!!

@redmax34 I know for a fact that when you purchase an actual hpi baja your not just paying for the name, your paying for the quality, r&d and customer service. There was no r&d for the clones and the quality is very poor when compared to the hpi. Dont get me started with customer service. The guys that own these locally complain about the plastics breaking very easily, some have bad plating problems with the motors and the list goes on (you can also check out the forums for proof).

@SavageRC1
Its true many clone sellers dont back up the product, that is where RCS is different. You mentioned the plastic, I agree its not as strong, that is why our vehicles are outfitted with all nylon control arms which are substantially stronger. As far as any other parts being sub-par, if somebody has bought a vehicle from us, we will warranty any defects including engines, which we have not seen a problem with yet. All of our vehicles are custom ordered and made to take a beating.

@redmax34 Alright thats understandable, im sorry if i came off sounding like a d-bag i just dont like it when people think the clones are exactly the same as the hpi baja. Are the nylon control arms made by rpm?

@SavageRC1
No prob. dude, I can understand some of the complaints about the clones, but not from vehicles purchased from RCS Racing. The arms are not made by RPM but they are a good compound, I like RPM's design a little better, but these clones ones really take some abuse.
