@pacmanghostx -- no they DIDN'T have a full house for that gm 4. i was there and there were at least 300 empty seats. the last time they did have a full house at MSG was during the 1997 playoffs.

@pacmanghostx -- it really wouldn't surprise me at all. i've been to the garden at least 50 times and i never have a problem sneaking down to any of the thousands of empty red seats that are given away to the no nothing suits and ties hockey fans. the garden hasn't had a full house since the 1997 playoffs with gretz. comparing the amount of suits and ties at the garden to the rock is like looking for a needle in a haystack. if there is one at the rock there are 200 at msg.

Many in the hockey media have taken note that while the Devils don't sell out every game, about 99% of those in the stands on any given night are diehards who wear some sort of Devils gear.

Oh, and it's actually rumored that Jimmy Dolan buys the remaining seats so he can announce 18,200, a sellout at MSG... And I wouldn't be surprised at all if that were true.

@pacmanghostx -- strange! -- i've attended 10 devils home gms this yr and i have yet to see these suits and ties at the rock. it's gotta really suck to know how shitty N.Y. Loser fans are and have nothing on devil fans so you use my comments with a twist. and the puck drops at "another sold out game here at MSG" but for some strange reason half the seats are empty! maybe if we play the game in 3D we'll attract little kids!

My point is that the Rangers have tons of seats that are not occupied by "real fans."

Those people in suits could probably care less about the franchise, and believe me, I know what those people are like, there's quite a few of them sprinkled throughout the Club seats at Devils games, as well.

And would it really be that hard to bring your hockey jersey to work and put it on over your dress shirt when you get to the arena?
