How to make an 808 kick in Massive

A basic tutorial on how to create an 808 sounding kick drum in Massive, although this can be carried over to other synths as the process would be similar.

This can be useful for bass's or drums and is more versitile then a sample in that when you play it at higher notes it stays the same length etc.

Hopefully this is helpful to someone , if people have questions just shoot em at me.

@awshot They are all drum machines made by roland. The sounds they used became iconic in music styles all over, especially the 808 and 909.

@L4wr3nc3810 True true, but I think you will find the 808 (Kick drum especially) is used heavily in everything from drum and bass to house, to hip-hop to dubstep to electronica and everything in between :D
