Deconstructing DPCI 97/4/782 is a collaborative project between Gail Heidel, Jennifer Rogers and the Target Corporation. The project consists of tracking the supply chain of a ready-made garment from conception to the moment it reaches the consumer. By using an everyday object and re-contextualizing it, the status of the garment changes from the ordinary to the extraordinary. At the same time, awareness is brought to the manufacturing processes and making public an event that is inevitably private.

  • Wow, this is one groovy and spooky video, ladies. Best of luck with it. Clearly the work of two very close friends and kindred spirits. Love, Mackey
