You are ACTUALLY dropping frames! Res should be '1024 x 768 x 32' anyway. The vehicle is NOT cause of stutters (actual term for what you see). It's your sliders and the program you used to record the video. Get Fraps (lots 'smarter'=no droped frames). FRAPS can record at 24 fps (unlocked) for best results.
