Yamboist it means space. just like on how flies trapped on fly paper, we are that so called fly and the fly paper represent the space. the space-time keep on expanding because space-time was not really flat it has a ripples on it.and there are other universes out there that we are not aware of. and the collision of both universes is what made the big bang to occur. by the way i can't explain it all because there are lots of theories about it like m-theory,etc. and it will take to long

200 year old equation of a theory of everything. Uniting the standard particles with GRAVITY. 100 year old extra dimension theory leading to a shape dimension that adds six. Mathematics are the most powerful human tool, but I think it is not enough powerful to explain ALL of the Universe. Just like the language can't explain all of our feelings. I think the Universe is too complex for our human mind. The limit of our understanding is called mathematics. Is there something beyond that?

Hawking, Einstein, Kaku, Tyson, Coyne, Dawkins, Harris, and more highly intelligent people on this planet... not a single one of them smarter then the others. You are arguing about intelligence on a video of a guy that flat out states we are all born genius scientist and it is just society that crushes our passion for knowledge.... So please, if you want to truly show admiration for these brilliant people, get a book, educate yourself, and then spread the knowledge.
