Recycling pallet wood for a garlic raised bed garden. Sorry about the wind noise in the beginning :o). The wood you see taken apart is only part of the wood. There is enough wood to make a few more beds from this one pallet.

The slats are 1x4, so perfect for making a raised bed and in most cases, free!!

  • I'm envious of all the green there! It's been hot, dry and brown here in the desert all year and I'm looking forward to the few months of green that we get here.

Those pallets are sure handy, aren't they! :-)

  • And the rain keeps coming and coming! Not complaining one bit though, our lakes can use every drop. Last I checked they were still 24ft low, but that is coming up from 46ft low before the rains started.

The pallets, ooohhh, I'm addicted! We need to go get another load, I have many more beds planned and several other projects. Love free wood!

  • The nails in pallets are HATEFUL!! I use pallets to build things alot. I just hate pulling the nails. I was thinking about building a compost bin out of pallets, but I didnt know how it would turn out. You my friend...have talked me into it. :D thanks for posting!
