Cap and Trade Insanity

Cap and Trade legislation in the US Senate will destroy the American way of life--forever. It puts the government in charge of our economy. It forces the use of renewable wind and solar energy which have serious problems we are not being told about. Neither are economically feasible with today's technology and will cost trillions of dollars. The same strategy in Spain has resulted in huge job losses and escalating costs to Spanish consumers. Pass this video along and contact your Senators at www.congress.org. Tell them to vote no on the cap and trade legislation or you won't vote for them.

What I am saying is you need good data and a scientific foundation before you get your conclusions. The place to find those is not a youtube video or a random webpage, the place is a scientific paper.

I will be pleased to discuss your perspective on the topic after I see your source of information.

You did not give any references yet. If I say I want them is because I will read them with interest. What is the base for your serious thinking?

@LordSantiagor Don't be silly ! anyone who thinks that man can influence the climate through co2 production does not wright serious scientific papers. You want? you sound like a tantruming toddler. Dont be so lazy and do some serious thinking for yourself if you are capable of that. I will give you a hint go search Global cooling, Svensmark and Cern cloud experiment. Then, if you are capable, why don't you find me proof of anthropogenic global warming and I mean serious proof.

@LordSantiagor Evidence can point in many directions, Scientific proof would be final. The Sun caused past Global warming and co2 is a mere product of that warming.

@chaparritajen WHERE is this proof? show me the evidence. Ok we breath out co2 and co2 is a product of burning, but where is the evidence that humans warm the climate? One repeatable experiment will do.

There are no problems with solar and wind electricity. The problem is endless subsidies and infrastructure for the oil, coal, and nuclear industries. Those subsidies cause massive poverty and economic destruction. Those who disagree: go pay with all your own money to clean up Fukushima and Chernobyl. Let all the displaced homeless people move into YOUR house.

The problem with cap and trade is that it is written by polluters, by the coal industry.

To solve the problem, we need to outlaw burning coal and send coal industry executives and lobbyists to prison for life. We need to outlaw the production of gasoline-powered cars (which we should have and could have done 20+ years ago) and send violators to prison for 5 years.

And we need to outlaw meat - no growing crops that get wasted feeding animals.

Only solar and wind power for electricity.
