Jesus taught that after all these things - world catastrophe, falling away of the church, antichrist persecuting the church - Jesus would return for whoever was still alive. Most Christians will be killed. Read the scriptures.

@greygaunt That's just it: there isn't any. There is no biblical evidence for the "Rapture" as people call it nowadays. We're not gonna get snatched up BEFORE the End Times and all the hard stuff hits. I'm not really sure how that myth got perpetuated, but if you think about it, it's pretty harmful. What happens to those who believe in it, but are stuck here when trials and tribulations come? Will they fall away b/c things got too hard? I certainly hope and pray not!

What I want to know is what is the Biblical evidence for the Rapture? I have looked and can find none. All I see is a gross misquoting of passages like Thessalonians. The rantings of fundies are turning Christianity into a death cult.

Many ridicule this, but the day shall come. Also,while it IS your choice to accept it, and we DO believe certain consequences shall follow if you don't, please do not criticize Christianity. The same should go towards us. While of course we shall try to convert many, we shouldn't push ourselves so far that we get into serious fights over who's right and wrong. Freely is how Salvation is best chosen, not forcibly.
