  • Wrong instructing about establishing at final. You are far away from being established just when the needle starts to run. It's at least 2,5 degrees apart. Look into DOC8168. Being establish means, that needle is placed less than half way from the center position (+ or - 5 degr.).

  • It would help to know what type of aircraft this briefing is for? Piston, turbo prop or jet?

  • Is that Easterwood? Flown in there many times--went to school there too! Anyway, ICAO considers 5 degrees or half-scale deflection as "established".
